Around 1960, "KURO" was created in a shop on a street corner of Hitoyoshi City, known as Kyusyu's little Kyoto Browned garlic preparation was called "KURO Ma Yu'".
Later, "KURO Ma Yu" became known to people as "KURO RAMEN", and then apprentices of the master spread it around the whole country. (KURO means Black)
