Chef Jiro was born is Tokyo, Japan and has been working as a chef for over 30 years. He graduated from the Seishin Cookery school in Japan before he came to Salt Lake City in 1972. In 1984, Chef Jiro opened Utah's very first Sushi Bar called Vicieuses Rumeurs in the Triad Center. After that he worked at several Japanese restaurants before opening Suehiro Japanese Restaurant in 1989. |
